Michael co-founded XMedia to provide clients with a reliable, results-oriented resource for marketing communications. Since 1999, he and Ellie have worked closely with a wide range of businesses and non-profits. Outcomes include increased sales, enhanced brand recognition and a better understanding of each organization by their key audiences.

Recent projects include a strategic marketing campaign for Starbucks, materials promoting the American Express retirement plan, and a message platform and core sales presentation for SySys Corporation—a leader in content and data management technology, located “just up the road from South Park” in Colorado.

Michael is the coauthor of Success by Ten by Russell Investments' founder, George F. Russell, Jr. And his article entitled "BIG Writing: The fundamental discipline of business writing" appears in the Summer 2008 issue of The Journal of Applied Corporate Finance.

When left to his own devices, Michael spends his time photographing, fly-fishing, reading history and detective stories and “researching” fine wines. He earned his B.A. at Yale College and his M.A. at the University of Virginia.
